everday is a good day

... but this one was even better!! PRAISE GOD for his blessing in my life.

Today two big milestones reached

  1.  I handed in my last Uni assignment, which means I will graduate this February from a BA (Asian Studies - TESOL Major). I really believed that this year God was calling back to study to finish what I had started, and though it was a tough semester God really helped me through it. The new focus and vision I gained during my time in Thailand really helped too. Thanks to Tuu for her patience and understanding when I unable to call more often than the times I was able to. Love you! and thanks to all my family and friends for your support and prayers.

  2. I sat the practical examination for driving license today, I didn't feel that confident as  I was really tired and hadn't much time to focus on practicing lately, but by God's grace I passed (He must have softened the instructor's heart).

then when I got home I received an email with my marks for a big assignment that I had done comparing Christianity and Taoism. I couldn't believe it, I got full marks for. God is good!

So many things to look forward to now, having free time, enjoying my first Christmas with my family for 4 years, going to Thailand before New Year's to spend two months with my sweety and meet her parents.

Excuse me a moment while I jump up and down PRAISE GOD!!

I don't deserve to be so blessed, but still He blesses me...

Holy

This song always challenged me. I find myself asking how much am I prepared to give up for God. And when he asks, will I complain or will I just say "Holy is the Lord, Holy is the Lord ... and the Lord I will obey, Lord help me I don't know the way"

Last assignment

I'm currently doing my last Uni assignment for the semester, year, degree, and maybe my whole life... its a wierd feeling, but its mostly good. This one seems to be the hardest to complete for some reason. Its due Friday, which is also the same day I go do my driving test. For those that didn't know I'll be off to Thailand after Christmas to spend some time with my lovely girlfriends parents, we'll spend 2 weeks with them. I will also get to go Tuu's graduation ceremony. We'll have 2 weeks in ChiangMai, and then a month teaching English in BKK. Its not often that the parents get to have all the kids at home at once these days.

Pattaya Praise

Pattaya often known as the "sin city" of Thailand, is taken over every year by God's people praising him. Apparently the event was great this year with all the churches coming together to BLESS the city. Here is a video with some pics of many familiar faces (to me at least and probably anyone else who's been involved with YWAM Thailand).

Chinlone

An amazing video of a game called chinlone ... similar to Sepak Takraw of Thailand / Malaysia / Indonesia ...etc.

Chinlone is the traditional sport of Myanmar (Burma). Its is a combination of sport and dance, a team sport with no opposing team. In essence chinlone is non-competitive, yet it's as demanding as the most competitive ball games.

Good excuse ...

Well the reason for not blogging in forever (and for the next two weeks) has been the amount of studying I've been doing. Its made me a bit of loner, but in just two weeks it will all be over. PRAISE GOD!!

Actually I have blogged alot lately, except just not here ... I have a secret blog ;)
