Do not store up treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.

Thomas, thanks for reminding me of this awesome truth - our treasure is to be in heaven, not on earth. It puts everything into the right perspective! I am to put my trust in the things of God, not the things of the world. You have encouraged me to never let go of this truth. God gives us a promise in Matthew 6:31-33 "..Your Heavenly Father already knows all your needs & He will give you all your needs day to day if you live for Him and make the Kingdom of God your primary concern.."

Everyone today is so reliant on wealth, technology, and stuff of that nature, when really we should put our faith in the promises of God :-)
